A firefighter is a trained professional who protects people from fires and other dangers. He works for the fire service and stays alert day and night. In Bangladesh, fires often break out in crowded markets, factories and slums, so his duty is important. As soon as an alarm rings, he puts on protective clothes and speeds to the spot in a fire engine. There, he sprays water on the flames and prevents them from spreading to nearby buildings.
